Iran has renewed its readiness to reach a permanent agreement that serves the interests of its people in the negotiations on the nuclear file.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to reach a permanent agreement that serves the interests of the Iranian people," IRNA news agency quoted Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian as saying in a telephone conversation today with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
During the phone call, the Iranian and Chinese foreign ministers discussed bilateral relations and some regional and international issues of common interest, including the abolition of sanctions imposed on Iran.
For his part, the Chinese Foreign Minister reiterated his country's supportive stance for continuing nuclear negotiations, expressing his hope that the path of diplomacy and dialogue would lead to an agreement in Vienna.
