Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that Russia will not allow the Kyiv authorities to return to negotiations with them, indicating that Moscow is offering the West cooperation in areas of common interest, but Western countries refuse to do so.
"Currently, I do not see an opportunity for the Ukrainian side to be allowed to put forward negotiations ... I do not see a possibility for them to be allowed to benefit from a return to negotiating procedures," Lavrov said in an interview today with the Belarusian National Radio and Television Corporation.
On Russia's relations with the West, Lavrov said, "I think the West is now in a state of nervousness... to deal with the matter themselves. We have done everything that depends on us." “.
On the other hand, Lavrov considered that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres "is trying to solve the problems of exporting grain from Ukrainian ports without taking into account the lanes that we announce daily," adding that "/this situation creates problems for many developing countries and prolongs the food crisis."
