The day after Emmanuel Macron's intervention, Aurore Bergé, deputy at the head of the LREM group in the Assembly called, in the wake of the President, the opposition to make compromises.
"We have a very clearly identified project and the opposition must tell us if they are ready to go, our responsibility is to seek a compromise and ask the question with whom."
Wanting to bring people together, she was however opposed to
“calling on deputies from the far left or the far right”.
“It's a new political culture,
” she adds.
I believe that we must be able to achieve this, our collective interest is that the country move forward and that if we cannot find compromises, the French will be angry with us.
