The lifeless body of a 48-year-old woman was discovered Monday, June 20, hidden under a thick layer of branches, in Malesherbes, a small town in Loiret located not far from Orléans, we learned this Thursday from the prosecution.

At the start of this case, a call made in the night from Monday to Tuesday to the gendarmerie brigade of Malesherbes.

The duty magistrate of the prosecution immediately moves to the scene around 4 a.m. and opens an investigation for murder.

The next morning, around 8 a.m., an individual suspected of having committed this homicide was arrested and placed in police custody.
Known by the police and gendarmerie under different identities, he would be 22 years old.
Furthermore, he is an employee of the victim.
“The reasons for this murder are, for the time being, not determined”

The autopsy of the victim's body carried out on Wednesday revealed traces of strangulation, supporting the thesis of death by strangulation.
