The Russian Defense Ministry revealed that Ukrainian nationalists were ready to blow up a hospital building in Kharkov in order to hold the Russian armed forces responsible for the crime.
"Specialists of the 72nd Information and Psychological Operations Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for another blatant provocation by killing civilians to accuse the Russian armed forces of indiscriminate strikes on civilian targets," said Mikhail Mezintsev, head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center.
"Fighters of the Nazi Kraken Brigade, under threat of execution, are forcibly bringing medical personnel and sick children from other medical institutions in the city to the First Children's Hospital in Kharkov," Mezintsev said, noting that the Nazis "plan to detonate the mined building with the beginning of the artillery bombardment of the Russian forces."
Mizintsev added that correspondents of Western news agencies arrived in the city to prepare fake photo and video materials.
Mizintsev noted that the Ukrainian army had deployed heavy weapons on the territory of a school in Druzhkovka, Donetsk People's Republic, and spoke of similar cases in other regions.
The official said that the Russian army and rescuers examined more than 3,500 hectares during demining in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
Mizintsev spoke of the evacuation of more than two million people to Russia from Ukraine and the popular republics of Donetsk and Lugansk since the beginning of the special military operation.
