An inmate considered to be the head of the Caliweed network, which sold cannabis herb and resin on Snapchat and Whatsapp, was sentenced Thursday, June 23 in Créteil to ten years in prison, and eight other defendants to prison terms.

The other sentences range from 12 months suspended prison sentence pronounced against the "
little hands
", for their "
complicity
" in the traffic, to eight years firm for the "
lieutenants
", including four with arrest warrant.
Designated as the head of Caliweed, Djamel S., alias Zinzin, 36, has already been imprisoned since 2018 for drug trafficking.
He was suspected of having "
organised, created and developed
" Caliweed from his cell.
In recidivism, he has multiplied since his 18 years the round trips to prison.
He will also have to pay a fine of 60,000 euros and is banned from appearing in Ile-de-France for five years.

His sister, Sonia C., who made the precious cannabis cakes offered with the orders of weed - which she carefully decorated in her words "
like (the famous pastry chef) Cyril Lignac
" - was sentenced to two years in prison suspended.
The Caliweed network, dismantled two years ago but which seems to continue today, had in a few months, at the beginning of 2019, succeeded in "
flooding the whole of Ile-de-France with its boxes
", thanks to innovative marketing and the advertising of certain rappers, including Mister You.

between two and five million euros
" in six months of activity of sale and delivery of cannabis .
Among the prison sentences handed down to the other defendants, four can be adjusted at home with an electronic bracelet, some accompanied by a probationary sentence ranging from two to five years.
Eight members of the Caliweed network were sentenced to terms equal to or greater than two years in prison.
All will have to pay fines of several thousand euros.
