In their planned joint government, the CDU and the Greens want to make North Rhine-Westphalia the first climate-neutral industrial region in Europe.

That said Green Party leader Mona Neubaur on Thursday at the presentation of the coalition agreement in Düsseldorf.

The coalition agreement lays the substantive foundation “that can carry us for five years.” During this time, the most populous federal state should become more socially just, ecological, digital and economically stronger.

Düsseldorf - Renewable energies would be significantly expanded.
