The 8-year-old boy from Oldenburg has been missing since Friday (June 17).
"The search operations, including in the districts of Wehnen and Bloh, have so far been unsuccessful.
Our emergency services continue to search extensively for 8-year-old Joe and follow up on all leads," the police wrote on Twitter on Wednesday morning.
With sniffer dogs, drones and loudspeaker announcements and many emergency services, the police searched for the missing boy on Tuesday.

On Monday evening there seemed to be a hot track in the Woldsee area near Bad Zwischenahn.
The area was combed after a search dog struck there.
But the search initially ends unsuccessfully.
