Syria International Islamic Bank opened this evening a new branch in the Sheraton Aleppo Hotel, which is the fifth branch of the bank in the governorate and the 31st branch in the country.

In a statement to reporters, Dr. Muhammad Issam Hazimah, governor of the Central Bank of Syria, stated that the geographical distribution of bank branches is evidence of their contribution to spinning the wheel of production in all its agricultural and economic stages, and serving a large group of members of society.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Syria International Islamic Bank, Tayseer Al-Zoubi, explained that the bank is working in accordance with an ambitious integrated plan for development, modernization and expansion to provide a distinguished banking experience that optimally satisfies customers with the bank, as well as accelerating the process of digital transformation to provide services at the highest level to suit the needs of customers and save them time, effort and achievement. their transactions with ease.

The CEO of the Bank, Bashar Al-Sit, pointed out the bank’s constant endeavor to provide the best comprehensive banking services and products to individuals and companies, and to adopt a clear strategy to increase the number of its branches and its geographical spread to meet the requirements of various activities of banking services in line with the variables and requirements of the Syrian market.

He added, "The opening of a new branch in Aleppo comes as a translation of the city's industrial weight and in response to the needs of economic activities, as the number of branches in it reached five, and the number of electronic payment points was 365 points, where sums of one billion Syrian pounds were implemented during a period of five months."

The opening was attended by the Governor of Aleppo Hussein Diab, Dr. Maad Medlaji, President of the Aleppo City Council, and a number of economic and social activities.
