Frankfurt – After a large-scale search operation, the body of a missing woman was found in Frankfurt.
The saddled but riderless horse of the 86-year-old ran into the arms of the officials on Wednesday afternoon (June 22) around 2 p.m. on Flughafenstraße on the outskirts of Niederrad, the police announced on Thursday (June 23).
The police officers first brought the animal, which ran out of the forest, to the premises of the service dog squadron, and investigations began at the same time.
The police assigned the horse to an owner via the riding club.
When the woman did not answer the phone after several calls, an alarm was raised.
The location of her cell phone was also requested, as reported by fnp.de.

A large contingent searched the Frankfurt city forest between the A3, A5 and B43 in the afternoon.
Another rider finally found the lifeless body of the wanted person off the busy forest path in the area of the Vierherrensteinschneise and Steigschneise.
Rescue workers and the emergency doctor could only have determined the death of the 86-year-old, according to the Frankfurt police headquarters.
It is not yet clear how the rider died.
The investigations are ongoing.
Investigations are also underway in the Main metropolis in a completely different case: police officers were recently attacked on Frankfurt's Zeil.
A crowd showed solidarity with the suspects.
