Salamiyah Mill in Hama countryside made the necessary preparations to receive wheat and mill it.
The mill manager, Engineer Ali Zuair, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the workshops have completed their preparations for receiving the wheat season, taking samples and analyzing them, in addition to preparing and maintaining the grinding rooms completely so that they are ready for work, including the control room responsible for the grinding devices and their rotation.
The head of the grinding department, Raed Ibrahim, indicated that the complete maintenance work was completed and the grinding machines were ready to work with high efficiency after replacing the grinding gears with new ones and performing electrical maintenance.
Head of the Wheat Receiving Department, Engineer Basil Nasr, said that the technical staff at the mill carried out maintenance work on chains, hydraulic lifters and sifters, in addition to preparing special roads for lining up trucks loaded with wheat from different regions of the governorate.
Salamiyah Mill is characterized by its high production efficiency and the quality of the flour it produces, and its production capacity currently reaches 425 tons of wheat per day, covering a large part of the Hama Governorate’s need for flour.
