In Rishon Lezion, no other candidates have yet run for mayor, other than Mayor Kinstlich who has announced that he is continuing for another term as mayor of Rishon Lezion, contrary to rumors of running in the national arena.
Recently, a survey was conducted in Rishon Lezion by the Maagar Mohot Research Institute, headed by Prof. Yitzhak Katz. In
a question that dealt with Kinstlich's possible confrontation with former mayor Dov Tzur, according to the survey data, Kinstlich defeats Tzur by a huge gap of 76% compared to only 14% for Tzur.

Another interesting statistic presented by the survey is that 67% of respondents think that Kinstlich manages the city better than a siege that received only 13%.
Recall that in the 2018 election, Raz Kinstlich defeated the then incumbent mayor Dov Tzur.
Since the election, Kinstlich has led a comprehensive move that puts the resident at the center and has become one of the most popular and respected mayors.
So far, no candidate has stated that he will run against Kinstlich, but officials in the city claim that a number of candidates, including Dov Tzur, plan to try and run in the next election against Raz Kinstlich.
