The Alchemists Israel today

2022-06-23T13:31:40.204Z

The government architects who are finishing their way used the Zionist project as a laboratory, but the political experiment they concocted exploded inside all of us • Just like the attempt of all systems to market it as a "success story"

Why did the Bennett-Lapid government fall a year after its formation?

Is it because right-wing MKs fell from it like fallen leaves?

Because Netanyahu operated his poison machine?

Because of the irresponsibility of Jida Rinawi Zoabi and a balance of scoundrels?

Walla, a mystery.

That is, a mystery only to those who think it is possible to produce in the lab a creature that is half a gecko and half a French poodle, call him "King of Israel", send him to the World Championships in formal swimming and expect him to return from there with a medal.

For hundreds of years ancient scientists worked on the attempt to produce gold from cheap metals.

They had no scientific knowledge or research methods, but a firm belief in the properties of materials and their ability to change - indeed.

Unfortunately, despite all the efforts of the alchemists, mercury did not turn into gold and Chinese cinnamon did not prove to be a virtue for eternal life.

Still, in the past year political alchemists have tried to convince us that a combination of right-wing, left-wing parties, Arab art and some opportunists, each with a different starting point and goal, is a winning formula.

The lab has exploded, and they are still trying to convince us that the ruins are the Eiffel Tower with a diamond at the end.

This is how it is with alchemists.

The golden dream is so stubborn that they do not believe in the results of the experiment.

Are they losers?

No way!

They managed to remove Netanyahu from the prime minister's office.

applause.

But that was not enough to replace him in a stable government.

All mechanisms have a future designed to ensure the continuation of Lapid's sole rule and his ability to appoint and fire as he sees fit.

No one can predict what the outcome of the upcoming election will be, but here is a research hypothesis: a government based solely on hatred of Netanyahu and his voters, a government that relies on the PM or the joint, will never complete a term.

The Bennett-Lapid government was based on several innovative inventions, which have no chance of existing outside the laboratory.

A prime minister with only seven MKs can not lead a coalition.

Politics is based on real political power, not on coalition agreements between a table and coriander, and not on a three-legged hen called an alternate prime minister.

One can try for years to convince that the right democracy is Barak's essential democracy, and not the tyranny of the majority of the ballot box, but in real life Yair Lapid can dictate the conditions, because Lapid has three times as many MKs at his disposal as Levant.

Strange that someone thought otherwise.

Strange that someone thinks that for the third time the concept will prove itself, and there will be a golden age where a prime minister will not need fingers.

Unlike Bennett, Torch has significant political power, and he too cannot succeed in the long run.

There is a future, more than any other party in the current Knesset, based solely on its leader.

All mechanisms that have a future are designed to ensure the continuation of Lapid's sole rule and his ability to appoint or fire people at his discretion.

Lapid did kick out Ofer Shelach, who declared his desire to run in party primaries, and meanwhile the front is quiet.

But a prolonged stay in government will give rise to more types of Shelah type.

That is: those who are tired of saying yes, Yair, sorry, Yair.

Yesh Atid's experiment is based on a hybrid between the passing fad of "center" parties and dictatorship.

But Lapid is not a Ben-Gurion, even though he is supported by all the extra-parliamentary mechanisms of government.

Lapid is also subject to the laws of reality and is very far from a Jewish majority.

A government headed by Lapid will always need the Arab parties, the new and legitimate partners in the Zionist project.

After the fall of the government, Minister Amar Bar-Lev said: "The glass ceiling was broken. I assume that in the next coalition there is also a high chance that there will be an Arab party, and if not, then in the coalition that follows."

Well, what is broken is not the glass ceiling, but the cabinet.

And if there is an Arab party in the next coalition or in the one after it - it will not spend its days either.

A coalition is always made up of parties that have some friction between them, but mostly a unifying factor and a common goal.

It is possible to arrange a convoy of train, wheelbarrow and scooter, but they all have to travel in the same direction.

The goal of the Arab parties is to abolish the Jewish state.

They can join a Zionist coalition only until the money runs out at the ATM, or until the next security crisis.

And if you say: Well, in any case, they intended to make Israel the state of all its citizens, the reality will be answered: there are not enough Jewish parties, which is also their goal.

And if, God forbid, there is enough political support for the idea of a binational state - it will not be long before it becomes clear that what Jews think of a binational state is not really what the Arabs think of binationalism.

A coalition of all its citizens will fall apart, even if the alchemists do not give up on their dream of turning straw into gold.

There is no front that the healing government has not failed on, other than cultivating the mental event of "the forces of darkness have stolen our country."

In practice a complex and strange construction was built and a mechanism bypassing democracy that used all the tools at its disposal to sell it as a success story.

The legal system happily cooperated, the media blew trumpets, supporters clapped their hands on the stands, Ayelet Shaked traveled to Morocco, and then - Boom Trah, what happened?

The balloon exploded, the balloon burst.

Yair Lapid stated this week: "We are the majority. The statistics are in our favor," and announced that "the way the government disbanded was based on friendship, truth and statehood."

A statistical majority based on friendship and truth does not fall apart after a year, even if all the media get along in threes and sing the praises of the government - and they sang, even if Haaretz sheds a tear of excitement at "I love you" said by Lapid Levant - and he shed.

One can do the same experiment over and over again in the hope of reaching a result that has no chance of existing in reality, and time and time again the gecko-poodle will not win in formal swimming.

Maybe, if the alchemists put in a little more effort - they would be able to coat it with 9ct gold before drowning in the pool.

Were we wrong?

Fixed!
