Very solemnly, Emmanuel Macron spoke to the French yesterday.
Without an absolute majority in the National Assembly, governing will not be easy.
However, the president dismissed the idea of a government of “
national unity
”.
He preferred to address the opposition, telling them again how good the "
compromise
" was.
And ask them to choose between the two solutions that present themselves: a “
coalition contract
” or a vote on a case-by-case basis, depending on the texts.
