The Israeli embassy in Paraguay commented on the affair: "There were Iranians directly involved in the arms trade to Syria and Hezbollah" • Law enforcement authorities in Buenos Aires ordered the extension of the stage of gathering evidence and proof

The Israeli embassy in Paraguay also referred to the case of the Venezuelan-Iranian plane that landed on June 6 in Buenos Aires and has since been detained in the country along with the crew.

"It had Iranians directly involved in the arms trade with Syria and Hezbollah," it said.

The saga of the mysterious flight that passed along South America with 19 crew members, including 14 Venezuelans and five Iranians continues after Argentina's local authorities decided to deepen the investigation centered on the pilot Golmarza, a former Brigadier General of the Revolutionary Guards.

On Wednesday, it was learned that after a thorough inspection of the staff members' mobiles, the investigators found a series of suspicious findings, including photos of weapons, terrorist organizations and incitement calls against Israel, as well as photos from his youth in the organization, the Argentine media reported.

At the same time, the Israeli delegation in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay, issued an official statement expressing Israel's concern about the Iranian presence on the continent, noting: Of the Iranian airline Qeshm Fars Air ".

As you may recall, the Boeing 747-300 passed through Paraguay and the exposure of crew members caused great embarrassment in the country including the resignation of officials and clarifications from the local intelligence chief who insisted on the severity of the situation contrary to what the Argentine government claimed was a training flight.

Since June 8, after the plane was denied entry into Uruguay, the crew had to return to Aziza International Airport in Buenos Aires, where it was detained by the authorities along with the entire crew of the plane.

Now 19 crew members are detained in Argentina without the possibility of leaving the country, their passports have been confiscated and the investigation around them continues and already includes an indictment for terrorism charges against all involved in light of unusual findings related to the plane and cabinets, chiefly material.

In recent days law enforcement in Buenos Aires has ordered an extension of the stage of gathering evidence and proof, in a move that includes examining the plane's black box (which was confiscated until the end of proceedings) as well as detailing a request from countries where the aircraft has passed in recent weeks.
