Police today (Thursday) requested the release of Alaa Khalaila, the brother of the suspect in the murder of Sapir Nahum.
Khalaila was first arrested on suspicion of involvement in the act and today in the Magistrate's Court in Acre was released on NIS 15,000 bail.
He will be under house arrest in Kafr Qara under the supervision of his 35-year-old sister and according to the agreement between his defense attorney and a Coast Guard representative, he was released from custody for his dialysis treatment at an institute in the city
