For two years, the Oberdinger municipal council has been casting companies, so to speak, who apply for areas in the commercial area expansion in Schwaig.

A selection has already been made behind the scenes.

Oberding/Schwaig – On Tuesday evening, a company was again a guest in Oberding's municipal council, which presented itself and hopes to get hold of an area in the expansion of the Schwaiger industrial park: a medium-sized Munich family company from the logistics sector.

Behind the scenes, the eastward expansion is taking on ever more concrete forms.

The councils have already informed the companies about their decision in private.

Of course, the purchase contracts will only be signed once the development plan has been finalized.

This will soon also be discussed publicly, the councils have already received it.

As is well known, well-known companies such as Rolls-Royce have applied for space in the past two years - the company casting began in July 2020 and also attracted more and more interested parties due to the reports in our newspaper.

However, craftsmen who are not given space in the large commercial area but in the mixed-use area in Schwaig, among other places, also presented themselves.

This is about smaller companies that are compatible with the residential development in the neighborhood in terms of immissions.

But there is still a bit of space in the large commercial area, and Trans Log Ambrus will also move there if they are awarded the contract.

Managing director Attila and his son Philipp Sandor-Ambrus from Munich now presented their company.

One office has been in downtown Munich since it was founded in 2000, and a location was added in 2008 on Südallee at Munich Airport.

The family business has also rented various storage areas.

The senior boss reported that he would like to bring everything together in Schwaig.

Trans Log Ambrus specializes in medical supplies and supplies around 50 hospitals from Hof to Lindau, including Erding and Dorfen - whether with scalpels, diapers or toilet paper.

Freight and air freight transport, courier trips and apron deliveries are also part of the spectrum.

The GmbH currently has 18 full-time and ten part-time employees, with a focus on Bavaria. The fleet includes 16 trucks from 3.5 to 16 tons and five Sprinters.

The transport and logistics service provider is hoping for an area of 3,000 square meters where it wants to build a sustainable warehouse with e-charging infrastructure, modern offices and transshipment points for its customers' storage.

There are also truck parking spaces for up to 20 vehicles and five containers.

The company is currently not training due to lack of space.

When asked by the council, the senior boss estimated that twelve to 15 trucks would be on the road every day.
