Space and astronomy enthusiasts are on a date with a special astronomical event at dawn on Friday, where a group of planets of our solar system line up with the crescent in a unique celestial scene, according to Nabil Al-Bish, a member of the Board of Directors of the Syrian Astronomical Society, to a SANA reporter.

Al-Bish pointed out that as of an hour before the dawn of Friday, we will witness a phenomenon that takes 19 years to see again, which is a procession of seven planets from our large solar system lined up in a semi-beautiful arc on the dome of the sky with the brilliant crescent between Venus and Mars just outside the planetary line, moving from Planet to planet during the last half of June, from east to southwest a little, led by the sun from a distance with the naked eye, with the exception of the two giants Neptune and Uranus, which we need a telescope to see due to their fading distance from the sun.

Al-Bish pointed out that the planets usually revolve around the sun on different orbits and levels from each other and at unequal and oscillating speeds at the same time in a space whose shape can be imagined in three dimensions, and we only need a strong inspiration and follow-up from a somewhat high and open area to enjoy this phenomenon that will not be repeated before Two decades ago.. Mercury and Venus are below the eastern horizon, while Mars and Jupiter are almost above the eastern horizon, and Saturn is below the western horizon.

The crescent can also be observed above Venus and near it the planet Uranus, but it is very faint, so it is difficult to monitor it with the naked eye, and the same thing with the planet Neptune, which will be below Jupiter on the southwestern horizon.
