Lior Yazdi, the son of Rabbi Moshe Yazdi, was arrested about a week ago on suspicion of rape - this was allowed today (Thursday) for publication.
This is about two weeks after his father was charged with sexual offenses and fraud offenses against seven different women.
Lior Yazdi, a resident of Jerusalem in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in 2017. Yazdi is suspected
of violently raping the woman and threatening her life.
The police investigation into his case began as part of the investigation she conducted against his father, a rabbi in Jerusalem.
At his detention extension hearing last week, Yazdi denied what was attributed to him and presented screenshots in which correspondence with the complainant reinforced his version, "It is authentic, no one fabricated it," his defense attorney argued during the hearing.
However, the police presented a document dealing with the credibility of the correspondence.

About three weeks ago, the Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against Rabbi Moshe Yazdi for rape, sexual offenses, fraud and deception on seven different complainants.
Yazdi, a 59-year-old from Givat Ze'ev who serves as a rabbi with a believing audience, is suspected of sexually assaulting believers while presenting the acts to them as "spiritual corrections."
According to police, Yazdi gave reasons and explanations designed to justify his actions within a cynical use of the religious world and called them "corrections."
According to him, the acts of sex were intended to save the lives of Jews and even to thwart terrorist attacks.
"It is impossible not to call his character and actions a pure evil," it was reported.
A police spokesman said during the hearing that Yazdi had "conspired with others, coveted tens of thousands when some of them led to the disgrace of starvation. He committed a series of serious sexual offenses while serving as a community rabbi. "That he separated them from their family, and even demanded that they separate from their spouses, treated them like puppets. Some of the victims added that he was a person who they claimed might hypnotize and enchant. Total control with a tier of apprehension and fear."
The police representative added, "In all my years in the police I have not encountered such a severe case of cruelty, it has been suffering for many years, just read the complaints of his 10 victims and do not believe, all as a guide, as he defined Yazdi from himself with LV Tzaddiks.
There are various and varied acts of evil, use of violence, intimidation, extortion in threats that I really better not continue to describe. "He added that Yazdi" used violence and committed sexual offenses, coercion, intimidation and intimidation.
There are very sexual and varied sexual elements and acts in a very large arc. "
Attorney David Halevi, representing Moshe Yazdi, said:" My client denies what is attributed to him. "I believe there is no doubt that my client's innocence will be proven in court."
