Big trouble at the "Schlagernacht des Jahres" in Berlin: During a performance, Bernhard Brink scolded Health Minister Karl Lauterbach and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The 70-year-old has now revised parts of his angry statements.

Berlin – Anyone who was present at the "Schlagernacht des Jahres" (all Schlager news at a glance) in the Berlin Waldbühne saw Bernhard Brink's tantrum live: after his performance, the singer and presenter raged eloquently against Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach and also shared properly Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Bernhard Brink bursts his collar at "Schlagernacht des Jahres" - anger because of Lauterbach and Putin

"This shit Corona, and when I always see this Lauterbach, he upsets me so much.

What's going on there?

Monkeypox, Corona, that's getting on my nerves," Bernhard Brink is said to have announced to the audience at the event in Berlin - angry words from the otherwise so factual hit star.

Bernhard Brink also burst because of Vladimir Putin, because the 70-year-old fired, among other things, that the Russian head of state should "hit the blow when he shit".

he said: "It was in the middle of a long working day around 6 p.m.

I had already had a gig in Magdeburg before that and later in the evening I had a concert with the band in Eisenhüttenstadt.”

But the pop singer (the most successful German pop singer of all time) also put his outburst into Karl Lauterbach's political work into perspective:

"Of course, one of the tasks of a health minister is to point out dangers.

In this respect, my statement is a spontaneous escalation due to the emotion, which I would not repeat in this way.”

Bernhard Brink, however, lets the fact that he criticized Vladimir Putin stand: "It is clear, and I also said that, that Putin is solely responsible for the war of aggression and thus for the atrocities," said the musician, who also expressed his displeasure at to have been improperly quoted in some sources in connection with his statements.

However, any dialogue between the artists and the audience falls victim to the editing.

When it comes to broadcasting, the focus should rather be on the music.
