The Friends Band, led by the artist Ayman Gharz El-Din, revived the third festive day of the International Music Day on the stage of the Culture Palace in As-Suwayda city this evening.
The band presented songs “Ya Al-Qadima” and “Ya Shahat” to me without clothes, and I met you and the world at night, singing Jawhar Chalghin and “Ghabana, O Dar.” It is the idea of a Damascene lover, and I lie to you and I am busy with you, busy singing, Yamen Raslan.
The band included musicians Hussein Harb on violin, Fadi Shwi on the flute, Ayman Gharz El Din on the oud, Majd Gharz El Din on the organ, Hassan Zain El Din on the law, Iyas Shehayeb and Raed Shway on the percussion, in addition to the chorus Taima Abu Zaid and Rama Zain Al Din.
In a statement to SANA's cultural reporter, the artist, Ayman Gharzeddine, considered that the band's participation in this celebration, despite the limited time for preparations and training, represents an opportunity to communicate with the public and develop the artists' performance.
The celebration of World Music Day, which is organized by the National Theater in As-Suwayda and the Directorate of Theaters and Music, continues until the 26th of this month, and every day one of the participating bands performs a concert, during which three new songs are presented in terms of word, melody and sound. of musicians and artists.
