Munich - In the early morning hours of May 13, a violent physical altercation broke out on the surface at the Messestadt-Ost subway station.
A 23-year-old man was seriously injured.
Two strangers hit him and attacked him with a sharp object.
He suffered life-threatening injuries.

The 23-year-old victim had previously approached an unknown witness, who the police are now looking for with photos.
Investigators describe the suspect as follows:
slim stature
remarkably long, dark hair
middle parting
dark, thin eyebrows
white in-ear headphones
black leather jacket
bright outerwear
dark pants
white/light sneakers
black mouth and nose protection
