Around 40 people demonstrated at Karlsfeld Rathausplatz.
They are finally demanding a supermarket at the Prinzenpark.
Karlsfeld – It got loud on Thursday evening on the town hall square in Karlsfeld.
Around 40 people followed Eckart Moj's call to demonstrate before the start of the municipal council meeting.
Topic: the ongoing standstill on the Prinzenpark site.
With whistles and rattles, the seniors let off steam in front of the Karlsfeld municipal politicians.
The "old newcomers" - especially seniors who live in assisted living on Bayernwerkstraße - have been waiting for the promised supermarket for five years.
A mother with two children was also among the demonstrators.
"The problem is carried out on the backs of several generations," she said to Mayor Stefan Kolbe.
Another protester lamented: "We feel betrayed!"

Kolbe emphasized that it was the investor Erl and Streicher from Deggendorf who made promises.
It is also up to the client why nothing is happening.
In addition, the mayor called on the group around Moj to also demonstrate in Deggendorf.

As reported, Erl and Streicher should develop the area according to the wishes of the community: with businesses and a supermarket.
The investor later announced that this could not be realized.
The Deggendorf-based company presented alternative plans, including a significantly higher proportion of apartments and a multi-storey car park.
The council rejected these proposals.
Since then, the two parties have not come to an agreement.
It can't be that we have to sit on the bus for a roll"
Eckart Moj
The seniors of the "Missing local suppliers" initiative have had enough of eternal blame, as Eckart Moj emphasized at the demonstration.
He demands that the community work out step-by-step solutions with the investor so that in the end there is a compromise that is acceptable for both sides.
"It can't be that we have to get on the bus for a roll," Moj scolded.
He announced further protest actions.
Kolbe assured: "We are considering someone who would be willing to set up and operate a temporary solution."
