At about 2 am today (25th), the police received a report from a woman that her male friend fell into the sea at 64 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, near the waterfront promenade opposite the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, and disappeared.
Rescuers arrived after receiving the report and found that the victim had returned to the shore, but he was emotional and needed to be taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
According to sources, the male victim was about 40 years old and was drunk at the time.
At the time of the incident, while chatting with the girlfriend who reported the incident, he suddenly fell into the sea with emotion, and then swam 50 meters and went ashore on his own. He was uniformed by sitting on the ground and sent to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
