Ebersberg against Grafing: Mayors are already sharpening their lances

On July 3rd, the two mayors of Grafing and Ebersberg will compete against each other in a fisherman's joust.

100 years Ebersberger Klostersee!
On the weekend, July 2nd and 3rd, the friends of the Klostersee invite you to the lake festival.
Ebersberg - 30 Ebersberg associations have confirmed their participation in order to support the organizing associations "Freunde des Klostersees" and the Beautification Association.
The members of many clubs sell sausages, suckling pig, fish on a stick and smoked fish, langosch, cakes, tarts and ice cream.
And of course vegetarians and vegans are also considered.
To drink there is beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks as well as smoothies and coffee.
Fischerstechen: We take care of your physical well-being
On Saturday, July 2, the program begins at 11 a.m. on the stage and on and in the lake.
On the programme: Short guided tours on the history of the Klostersee, performances by the traditional costume association with Schuhplattln and Dirndl dresses as well as hands-on offers, also for families and children, from the VHS, the KBW, the KJR.
The water rescue service does a swimwear show and shows how people went into the water 100 years ago.
The highlight starts on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Then 13 Ebersberg clubs and institutions compete against their Grafing counterparts in the jousting.
Joust: Kick off the SUP with a spear
Among other things, the fire brigades and boys' clubs were there.
Martin Otter from the Schlossbrauerei and Gregor Schlederer from Wildbräu, as well as Martin Schedo for TSV Ebersberg and Carmen Remplewski for TSV Grafing.
Standing on a stand up paddling board, the contestants try to push each other and a bucket off the jetty with a lance to score a hometown point.
The city with the most points at the end wins.
The two mayors, Uli Proske and Christian Bauer, are also standing up for their city.
