Accident on the B75 / Harburger Straße: Fatal frontal accident - one person dies

The suspected cause of the accident, an approximately 50-year-old man, died in the rubble of his car.

The driver of the second car was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Both vehicles were completely destroyed in the accident.

When the rescue workers from the volunteer fire brigade arrived on site, the rescuers could not do anything for the driver of the Mini, reports Operations Manager Volker Kleeblatt to 24hamburg.de.

“The first point of access in the car must be for the paramedics.

So that they can start treating the injured person quickly," explains Volker Kleeblatt.

But even this measure was too late, the Mini driver could only be rescued dead from the car.

The B75 was completely blocked in both directions at the level of the commercial area.
