Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is expected to meet with Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked during the day (Friday), for the first time since the announcement of the dissolution of the 24th Knesset.
Shaked was on a visit to Morocco this week and was updated at the last minute by Bennett on the decision to go to the polls - which created tension between the two.
Behind the scenes, even earlier, Shaked managed to persuade MK Nir Orbach to postpone his support for the Knesset dissolution law for a week until her return from abroad, but the chairman of the right decided together with his partner Lapid to precede him
. He is expected to make the decision soon, and it is estimated that this possibility will also be discussed in a meeting with Shaked.
Consider retiring from political life.

On Wednesday, the Knesset plenum voted in favor of the bill to dissolve the 24th Knesset in a preliminary reading.
110 MKs
voted in favor, without opponents. On the agenda are 11 private bills to dissolve the Knesset, two of them from the coalition and nine from the opposition.
A constitution led by MK Gilad Karib (Labor). The coalition is interested in passing the legislation to a constitutional committee to control the continuation of the process and not be in the hands of Auerbach, who is in no hurry to advance the law to allow time for an alternative government.
