At least two perpetrators broke into the Kuhn bakery and confectionery in Gmund in the night from Thursday to Friday, but did not steal anything.
Gmund - At least two perpetrators broke into the Kuhn bakery and confectionery in Gmund in the night from Thursday to Friday, but did not steal anything.
Police said the incident happened around 2 a.m.
A local resident noticed a suspicious noise and informed the officials.
When the police arrived at the bakery on Münchner Strasse, they found a window that had been pried open.
The perpetrators had already fled again - without booty.
They may have been driving in a BMW on the B318 north toward Kreuzstrasse.
The Miesbach police, who have taken over the investigation, are now looking for witnesses.
Anyone who saw suspicious people or vehicles in Gmund during the night from Thursday to Friday that could be related to the burglary should call 08025/2990.
