Hunt for Russian oligarchs: several billion euros already frozen by Brussels

Brussels has made significant progress in sanctioning Russian oligarchs in Europe.

To date, people on sanctions lists for supporting Putin's war have lost luxury yachts, helicopters, paintings, real estate and other assets worth more than of 12.5 billion euros.

The European Union has frozen half of those assets since April alone.
