British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Conservative Party suffered two landslide defeats in today's by-election.
Agence France-Presse indicated that the Conservatives lost in Huntin & Tiverton, a constituency in the southwest of the country, as well as in Wakefield, results that will increase pressure on Johnson.
The situation does not seem favorable to the British Prime Minister's government, as the inflation rate reached its highest levels in forty years, more than 9 percent, while a controversial attempt by Johnson to deport migrants to Rwanda recently failed.
And all this comes months after the scandal of Johnson attending parties at the time of the Corona outbreak, which was added to another scandal called Carrie Gate and related to alleged repeated attempts by Johnson to obtain paid jobs for his wife, Carrie.
