The prominent critic of the Kremlin, who was imprisoned in Russia from 2033 to 2013, said in an interview with the TV channel Euronews that Putin will eventually wage a war on NATO territory if Ukraine should not succeed to end the war victoriously.

Khodorkovsky also called on NATO to continue to supply Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with weapons and supplies to fight the Russian military.

Khodorkovsky told Shona Murray that NATO has a great opportunity right now to "help Ukraine defend its sovereignty by engaging in this war with arms, supplies and the training of Ukrainian soldiers, rather than on its own territory." battle."

When Murray Khodorkovsky asked if he thought NATO should engage directly in Ukraine, he said the alliance must do everything it can to ensure Vladimir Putin doesn't get his way.

The Kremlin critic added that the arms and supplies NATO has sent to Ukraine are insufficient compared to the significant amount of weapons in Putin's arsenal.

"If NATO wants the war on Ukraine's territory to be resolved, then of course it has to provide much more systematic support," he said.
