The official representative of the forces of the Lugansk People's Republic, Ivan Filipponenko, announced the imminent liberation of the entire territory of the republic.
"Dozens of Ukrainian soldiers are surrendering near the cities of Severodonetsk and Lysichansk...Advanced units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been repelled and dozens of Ukrainian soldiers have been captured," TASS news agency quoted Filipponenko as telling Russia 1 channel.
The Luhansk People's Republic announced earlier that the Zolotoy "2" region had come under the control of the Russian and republican forces, while the allied forces also entered the Solotoy "1" region.
