Kate Middleton was inspired by the Carrie Bradshaw painting from "Sex and the City" and wore her wedding shoes in a different color.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are seen in their first official portrait together.

The painting reveals witty style details.

Carrie Bradshaw from the hit series "Sex and the City" wore the same Monolo Blahnik shoe model.

Cambridge – It must be an uplifting feeling to see yourself oversized as a painting hanging on your wall.

This honor has now been given to Kate Middleton (40) and Prince William (40), who now came to visit their first portrait.

Satisfied, the ducal couple stepped in front of their picture, which was not left to chance in any detail.

The commissioned work shows the two "approachable", but also "elegant and dignified"

Commissioned by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund as a gift to Cambridgeshire in 2021, the work was painted by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth, 26: "I wanted to show Her Royal Highnesses in a way that makes them look relaxed and approachable as well as elegant and dignified." .

Prince William stands dapper in a classic suit with a blue tie, hands in pockets, urbane look.

In the artwork, Kate wears an elegant emerald colored dress with carefully chosen accessories.

"It's quite big," William quipped, calling Coreth "amazing."

Carrie Bradshaw chose a different color as she walked down the aisle to reflect the rite of marriage with something blue.

Incidentally, Kate's emerald green dress is a recycled piece from her wardrobe, which she wore with Prince William when she visited Dublin in March 2020.

The shimmering dress is from The Vampire's Wife.

The gold O'nitaa earrings are pearl and diamond earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana (36, † 1997).

Kate took another detail from Diana's collection with her to the portrait.

The three-row beaded bracelet was worn by the tragically late mother Prince Williams with her Catherine Walker beaded designer dress with a high stand-up collar, which became famous as the “Elvis” outfit.

The brooch is the Duchess of Cambridge's brooch, inherited through generations.
