The Russian Ministry of Transport announced its rejection of the concerns of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) about the safety of flights in Russia.
"We do not support the concerns of the International Civil Aviation Organization about the safety of flights in the country regarding the so-called dual registration of aircraft," the ministry said in a statement today, carried by TASS.
The statement indicated that the flight safety of aircraft is provided and maintained at a high level.
The Russian Ministry of Transport announced last March that six Russian airlines continue their international flights, and 29 foreign airlines operate flights from 20 countries to Russia, despite the restrictions imposed by a number of foreign countries on the use of their airspace in front of Russian flights or those heading to Russia.
