The prime minister keeps appointment after appointment.
His coalition competitor, Aiwanger, is also looking for every camera.
Is the fear of the state election that big?
Comment.
Dorfen
- club anniversaries, folk festivals, large and small celebrations - everywhere people meet in happy company.
For local politicians, this wave of conviviality is certainly a joy, but also a lot of hard work.
District administrator and mayor rush from event to event.
And then comes the master of the parallel appointment: Prime Minister Markus Söder.
The local political prominence must also quickly squeeze this into the calendar.
You've just digested your statements on nuclear or coal-fired power, and you can already see the CSU leader stroking calves in a stable.
Of course, the Minister of Agriculture and the FW politicians Aiwanger and Glauber did not miss the media attention either.
Yes, is it already an election campaign?
Söder's Tingel tour continues at high frequency.
On Thursday alone, he was announced at around 8 a.m. in a daycare center in Anzing, an hour later in the children's home on Sonnenhügel in Dorfen - here as an accompaniment to Family Minister Ulrike Scharf.
The political message: Childcare work needs to be valued more.
But then the blatant cut: At 10 a.m. at the airport, in the presence of the media, synthetic fuels were discussed.
There, Söder and his FW coalition friend and election campaign competitor Aiwanger moved into the right camera light.
On the same day, the two continued to compete for lines and broadcasting minutes at the next appointment at a gas storage facility in Oberpframmern.
Yes, it's already an election campaign - even if the state elections aren't until autumn 2023.
The high appointment density over a year before shows: The CSU is already very nervous.
