Salamiyah’s team lost to the police by three sets to one in the match that brought them together on the grounds of the Martyr Nasih Alwani Sports Hall in Hama in the last round of the first-leg of the six-round volleyball championship for the men’s category.
The police excelled in the first set 25-13 and the second 25-20, while Salamiyah advanced in the third set 25-23, but the police came back and advanced in the fourth set with a score of 25-18 and decided the match in his favour.
This is Salamiyah's second loss in the league after the first in front of Qatifah, and it fell to third place behind the Police, who rose to second place, while Qatifah remained in the lead after winning all its matches in the first leg.
And participating in the six rounds of the men's volleyball league, Al-Shorta, Salmiya, Al-Souda, Kafr Hawr, Anazah, Hanin and Al-Qatifah clubs compete back and forth between them.
