This Thursday there were 11 protests in Ecuador led by the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities.
Leonidas Iza, president of Conaie, asked his bases and the representatives of the indigenous movement to withdraw to the House of Culture in Quito.
Iza asked "not to let infiltrate the people who are damaging the march."
After noon, it seemed that there could be a rapprochement between the Conaie and the government of Ecuador, but hours later protesters walked to the headquarters of the National Assembly and another confrontation took place there.
On Thursday night, the Prosecutor's Office confirmed one more deceased in the vicinity of El Arbolito park, in the Ecuadorian capital.
The authorities are investigating so far 5 deaths since the beginning of the demonstrations.
The indigenous movement set a series of conditions on Tuesday to resume dialogue, including the demilitarization of certain sectors of Quito and the repeal of the state of emergency.
