The National Security Agency arrested two men yesterday for posting inflammatory posts on social media and the online discussion forum "Lian Deng", which included words such as liberate Hong Kong and Hong Kong independence. They were each charged with one act of seditious intent The case was brought to the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts today (24th).
As the police need time to conduct further investigations, including testing the two's mobile phones, computers and other devices, the case was postponed until August 4 for re-examination, during which the two were required to return to the hospital.
Two defendants: Chen Guanxu (28 years old, kitchen worker) and Chen Weilun (30 years old, IT staff).
Charged with posting and continuously displaying statements, photographs and posters on Instagram and LIHKG between January 17, 2021 and June 13, 2022, with the intent to:
(a) cause hatred or contempt for the Central Government and/or the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region or provoke rebellion against them;
(b) provoking Hong Kong residents to attempt to change other laws enacted in Hong Kong without legal means
matters;
(c) incite others to use violence; and/or
(d) counseling others to disobey the law or obey a lawful order

The school librarian's case of using TG to incite others to destroy the shop has been postponed until August. The former editor-in-chief of "Stand News" Zhong Peiquan pleaded not guilty. The case is scheduled for trial at the end of October. The salesperson opposed the anti-epidemic policy. Driving and assembly pleaded guilty to incitement to be sentenced, former TVB employee even posted a post calling for destroying the TV transmission station. The officer denounced selfishness for 3 incitement charges. Man was imprisoned for 1 year for chanting incitement slogans.
