For the third day in a row, the celebration of the International Day of Music continues at the Palace of Culture in Homs, where Mada Cultural Project (11 hymns) presented the violin singing Baligh Hamdi.
During the celebration, the violins of the musicians, Karam Khaddam, Ayham Saad and Fadi Tamour, sang distinct arabic songs, which are (Like Honey, Hawa Hawaya, Kan Ya Makan, Zay Hawa, Farewell, Listen to Me and Love All) to conclude the concert with two songs (Far from You and One Thousand and One Nights) by musician Marwan Gharib.
The audience interacted with what they listened to from the tunes that brought them back to the days of authentic rapture and the beautiful time.
In a statement to SANA, Ramez Hussein, the general manager of the Mada project, confirmed that this evening is the third for the violin, as it was preceded by the violin singing Umm Kulthum and Abdel Halim, and today is eloquent, pointing out that the violin is best able to perform singing without the presence of a singer.
He pointed out that the Mada project, which is widespread in Syria, always tries to present a sophisticated and civilized art that the Syrian public deserves, and that accompanying the art of painting with music also on stage had a beautiful positive impact.
Violinist Fadi Tamour said: Today we wanted to present our Arab singing music in a different way to assure that we are able to sing using the violin, which was resonated and admired by the Homs audience, who tasted authentic art.
For his part, the plastic artist Farid Wassouf considered that accompanying the art of playing with painting is in itself a civilized state that created a creative atmosphere on stage, pointing to his choice to paint a painting by the great artist Baligh Hamdi, accompanied by the plastic artist Aya Dhafoor.
Amin Roumieh, head of the branch of the Syndicate of Artists in Homs, indicated that today's concert was special because it was the instrumental music that was tweeting on the stage and not associated with the word, explaining that the instrumental aspect is not widespread and the violin is one of the important musical instruments where each musician played in his own style.
