It hammers, screeches, dusts.

"Tegernsee fantastic" already scores as a construction site with a lot of action.

An army of craftsmen and technicians are working hard so that the wonderful worlds of Korbinian Kohler can open in August.

Weissach –

The old event arena next to Korbinian Kohler's luxury hotel Bachmair Weissach is history.

Where event guests used to move on smooth parquet floors, a metal construction with platforms rises up to the ceiling at a dizzy height.

It is painted black, as are the walls.

When everything is ready, there will be a high-rope climbing garden here, which, in addition to tangible challenges, will provide thrills with lots of illusion.

The hall is dark, light installations mark the way.

Deep gorges seem to open beneath the climbers.

"Tegernsee magic" is the name of this part of the world of experience, which is divided into two areas and with which hotelier and entrepreneur Kohler wants to rise to the Olympus of his industry.

Ticket costs 42 euros for three hours

Everything is still under construction here.

In order to make his fantasies come true, Kohler hired a team of 15 experts, there is a cooperation with Europa-Park Rust.

The opening is scheduled for August.

There is still a lot to do before then, which is why up to 100 people are currently working on the construction site at the same time.

Entry vouchers can now be purchased online.

The ticket costs 42 euros for three hours.

In comparison, a low price, says Kohler.

Virtual world and trampoline with special effects

He doesn't talk about the amount of his investments, but they should make you dizzy just as much as the virtual world that is part of "Tegernsee magic".

With computer glasses and two sticks, visitors embark on fantastic journeys.

In the two 5D cinemas, the viewers not only feel as if they are in three-dimensional space while flying over Europe, but also feel the wind and the movement, smell the aromatic air.

Guests can find their balance on the trampolines.

Anyone who jumps on it triggers effects: light and sound.

They become all the more spectacular the more people gently spring upwards in equal measure.

"The motto is fair play," explains Kohler.

Jostling is no fun, jumpers who move in harmony are rewarded with surprises.

Attraction for the whole region

"That was my idea," reveals Kohler, who wants to create something with the adventure center that will give his hotels and businesses around Lake Tegernsee even more appeal, but will also become an attraction for the entire region.

All age groups are catered for on 2,700 square meters.

In addition to the dark world of "Tegernsee magic", the "Tegernsee World" area lures with cute wooden houses around a virtual Tegernsee, with each house representing a Kohler business: the Bussi Baby, the Wallberg house, the clubhouse, the Bachmair Weissach, Wildbad Kreuth.

He allows himself so much self-expression, otherwise Kohler sets high standards for edutainment.

It's about ecology and the environment, development history and climate change, presented interactively and with a wink.

Fish that occur in Lake Tegernsee swim in a virtual aquarium.

If you tap a copy with your finger, you can look at it at your leisure and call up information about it.

Visitors can also draw aquatic animals themselves on a tablet and release them into the aquarium.

Suspension bridges will be installed between the houses, inviting you to whiz around.

Glass bouldering wall at the front

A huge glass bouldering wall at the front belongs to the bright hall.

"From the outside, it will look like human spiders are moving around," says Kohler.

In the middle of the room, a chain carousel will create a folk festival atmosphere, next to it a children's carousel with an old-fashioned touch.

Even the celebrities of the Tegernsee Valley get a stage, the artists, athletes and politicians.

What Kohler wants to prevent is the triad of volume, bad air and lousy food, which is known to spoil the visit to large recreational arenas.

With a lot of effort he had soundproofing installed, large slats under the roof, good ventilation, and there will be a fine Italian restaurant with the "Gardone".

200 visitors are allowed in the hall at the same time, tickets are only available online.

Kohler's hotel guests have priority, but the adventure world is open to everyone.

Kohler hopes that "Tegernsee fantastic" will become known throughout Europe.

Kohler hopes that the visitors should leave the world of experience “red cheeks, out of breath and inspired”.

"Tegernsee fantastic" is also a risk, as Kohler knows: "I'm a bit excited."
