Jean-Christophe Buisson, the deputy director of
Figaro Magazine
, welcomes this week Yves Bigot, managing director of TV5 Monde, Françoise Dargent, head of the Culture department of
Le Figaro
, Olivier Nuc, daily music critic and Pascaline Potdevin, head of the Culture department at
Miss Figaro.
On the occasion of the release of
Elvis,
a biopic by Baz Luhrmann dedicated to the King, the chroniclers examine the still preponderant place of singers and groups of the 1960s and 1970s on the contemporary cultural scene.
If this film features a very convincing Austin Butler, the quality of the productions centered on rock stars, living or dead, remains very uncertain.
While the Rolling Stones and Elton John have taken to the road again, the "Club Culture" will also question the relevance of the world tours of the old glories of music.
