The Syrian Center for Trade and Distribution Company organized an event entitled “Bakri Ahla” to honor the beneficiaries of the human development courses it offers in a number of Syrian governorates, including the families of martyrs and wounded, at the Youth City Theater in Damascus.
The event included a presentation of the success stories of the company's beneficiaries, as well as lyrical and traditional music.
The event supervisor, Wissam Al-Hassan, said in a statement to SANA that the company's goal since its inception is to secure job opportunities for young people to reduce unemployment and improve the economic situation through human development courses, language programming and skills development.
A number of those honored in the event stressed the importance of the opportunity presented to them in terms of life skills training, refining their capabilities, and obtaining job opportunities in the field of marketing.
Afaf Faraj, one of the honorees, explained that she saw hope through the job opportunity that the company secured for her, while Agharid Mando, the mother of a martyr, pointed out the extent to which they benefited from the courses in raising their ability and efficiency at work to change their reality for the better, remove pain and sow hope.
The young man, Wajdi Al-Da’touri, stated that he found in the company a space to develop his skills, return to the community, and start work after benefiting from training courses and acquiring marketing skills and transferring them to others.
