There have been 13 days of protests in Ecuador and the tension does not cease in the vicinity of the National Assembly.
While several Ecuadorians ask for the demonstrations to end in order to return to their activities, the opposition has called for the removal of President Guillermo Lasso, for which the Assembly will install a virtual plenary session to debate and decide on this request.
From Quito, Ana María Cañizares, from CNN, reports the most recent details of these protests.
