The personnel is a bitter loss for the Tölz parish association: parish officer Brigitte Blösl will take up a new position with the Dominican Missionary Sisters in the Schlehdorf monastery in July.
Bad Tölz/Schlehdorf – Brigitte Blösl has been preparing hundreds of children in the Tölz parish association for their first communion since 2010.
But that's not all: the 52-year-old was involved in children's, family and funeral services, she gave religious instruction for the third graders at the Südschule for years, was to be found in day-care centers and worked on numerous committees.
Blösl, who lives with her husband in Benediktbeuern, is valued by children and adults alike because of her warm, calm nature and great empathy.

On July 1st she will take up a new position in the Schlehdorf monastery: Blösl will be the headmistress of the Dominican Mission Sisters with equal rights alongside Sister Margit Bauschke.
It is a newly created position that is deliberately being filled by an external person, says Provincial Sr. Francesca Hannen.

Born in Baden-Württemberg, she came to Tölz in 2010
Blösl, who was born in Baden-Württemberg, is a trained nurse in her first profession and worked in this for a few years before she decided to study parish pastoral and religious education in Freiburg.
Before Blösl came to Bad Tölz in 2010, she worked as a municipal officer in Rottweil and Bietigheim-Bissingen.
"I'm happy, but letting go hurts"
Now she sees the possibility of combining her first and second profession, Blösl said on Wednesday when speaking to our newspaper.
"I'm looking forward to it, but at the same time I also feel that letting go hurts." She had experienced many good years in Tölz, "but after twelve years a change doesn't hurt," she says.
In addition, there is also the fact that it is not certain whether her position would still have existed in the new position plan in two years' time.

In Schlehdorf, Blösl can combine her first and second job
Blösl kept in touch with religious orders throughout her professional career.
Now she is happy to be able to build a bridge, especially with her two jobs.
In Schlehdorf she will on the one hand advise and support the 24 nuns - six more live in old people's homes in the Loisach Valley - on questions of care.
On the other hand, it will give pastoral impulses, for example in the Liturgy of the Word, in pastoral care and in discussion rounds.
She has 32 hours a week available for this.
"A stroke of luck": Dominican Missionaries are looking forward to Blösl
The Dominican Missionaries are fortunate to have found Blösl for this task, says Sr. Francesca.
"We advertised this position because our staffing is getting thinner and we are aware that we are dependent on outside help." Similar to other matters, such as the sale of the old monastery building and the farm, the decision was made early on to set the course.
"It's also important for us to learn to adapt."
Because of her professional career, Blösl is “a stroke of luck”, says Sr. Francesca.
There are already so-called “coordinators” in other religious orders.
In Schlehdorf, Brigitte Blösl will not only have the same rights as house manager Sr. Margit, but she will also have the same voting rights in the German branch council.
What's next in Bad Tölz?
Pastor Peter Demmelmair did not want to comment on request.
He sent word that a deacon would come.
Then you will be advised on the redistribution of tasks in the team.
