Most of the areas witnessed this morning rainfall of varying intensity, the highest recorded so far at 40 mm in Al-Muzairah in Lattakia.
In a statement to SANA, the meteorologist, Muhammad Haider, explained that the impact of the depression in the country started in the coastal areas and extended to the central, northern and northwestern regions, and then extended to the mountainous, southwestern, central, and Badia highlands, and to parts of the eastern and island regions, adding that the depression is accompanied by active donations from Winds exceeding 70 km in some areas are accompanied by cumulus clouds.
Haidar indicated that the depression ends this evening, with the chance of rain remaining in the northern regions, and tomorrow there will be a slight gradual rise in temperatures, while they remain below their rates in general.
He indicated that so far, precipitation amounts have been recorded in Lattakia Governorate, which amounted to 38 mm in Slunfeh, 40 mm in Muzaira'a, 32 mm in Qardaha, 21 mm in Lattakia, 32 mm in Bechlameh, and 17 mm in Tartous in Banias and 3.3 mm in Tartous.
