State President Ilse Aigner has awarded Viktoria Rebensburg and Stephanie Czerny from Kreuth with the Bavarian Constitutional Order.
Kreuth
– President of the Landtag Ilse Aigner honored two prominent Kreuthers with the Bavarian Constitutional Order on Friday: honorary citizen and ex-ski racer Viktoria Rebensburg and the journalist and networker Stephanie Czerny.
The latter has been responsible for the digital conference Digital Life Design (DLD) for more than 15 years, one of the most important meetings of the digital high-tech scene in Europe.
The entrepreneur Gertraud Gruber from Rottach-Egern had already received the constitutional order in January – a few weeks before her death at the age of almost 101.
At the ceremony in the Senate hall of the state parliament, Aigner described the Olympic champion and multiple Ski World Cup winner Rebensburg as an "exceptional talent" and role model for young people.
"Anyone who has stood on the podium around 50 times could look at things from above," said Aigner.
"You don't.
They have remained down-to-earth.” With her “Fit & Aktiv” project, she creates awareness among young people for a healthy and active life.

According to Aigner, Czerny, on the other hand, combines sophistication and a sense of home, digital and analog life, like no other.
The publishing house Hubert Burda Media, for which she brings together competence and opinion leaders from all over the world as part of the digital conference, can be proud of her.
"The DLD is image-building for Munich, image-building for Bavaria," emphasized the President of the State Parliament.
In addition, Czerny takes care of the networking of women through DLD Women and promotes environmental protection through the Board of Trustees of the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF).
