The Hong Kong Journalists Association today (25th) held a general meeting and re-election of the executive committee, and voted to amend the provisions of the articles of association regarding the threshold for dissolution.
According to the news, the Association of Journalists has passed the lowering of the threshold for dissolution. It was originally agreed by no less than five-sixths of all members by secret ballot, and it has been lowered to as long as half of all members agree to dissolve.
The meeting also voted, and Chen Langsheng, the only candidate for the chairman of the Association of Journalists, was successfully re-elected.
