Love, flirts and other states of uncertainty: musical class for your own piece

The musical class at the music school in Ismaning wrote the piece “Diner Stories” themselves.

The two weekend screenings are sold out, but there might still be tickets available at the box office.

Ismaning

- There were stories from the steakhouse with heart, pain, wit and a big music show.

The musical class of the Ismaninger Music School designed the history of the "Diner Stories" and delighted the audience at the premiere in the Seidl-Mühle.

The game will be played until Sunday, then Ismaning's upbeat place with the big love factor will be mothballed again.

15 young women and four men stood on the stage and told stories about great love, failed love, flirts and all other states of uncertainty between people.

All this took place in the "American Diner" restaurant, where the tables were repeatedly cleared to the side for the dance show.

The team used the stage in the large hall of the Seidl mill to the last centimetre.

The makers of the performance were Maximilian Widmann (director, conception, choreography), Alicia Körber (musical direction), Nadine Germann (director, conception) and Chiara Viscido (choreography).

Widmann proudly emphasized that the entire musical, apart from the music itself, was written for the four evenings.

And he was enthusiastic about the commitment with which the students worked on the implementation and how they brought a highly professional music show to the stage.

He also said that a number of talents have the potential to enter major acting schools and make the stage their workplace.

He advises young people (“They have matured incredibly”) to think big: “It is important to have the dream of being on stage professionally.

We leaders of the musical class did it too.”

Widmann also expressed the enthusiasm of the team behind the actors: "We had a lot of work, but it was a lot of fun." This musical will be completed with the four performances and will probably never be shown publicly again.

"The artists remember the applause of the audience," said Widmann.

The artist at the top of the musical class likes the unique opportunity to see this music theater: “These four evenings offer the magic of the moment.

This is theater and not Netflix, which you can watch anytime, anywhere.”

The other performances on Saturday (8 p.m.) and Sunday (7 p.m.) are already sold out.

Widmann nevertheless encourages those interested to come to the box office.

Again and again, tickets are returned at very short notice - and they are available at the box office.

After the four "diner stories", the musical class of the music school takes a deep breath and starts a new project in September.

Then it's time to look for music and bring your own story to life with funny dialogues and fantastic choreographies.

Director Widmann's main wish for the next project is that more male actors dare to go on stage.

It was difficult in the past and once again the four men in the limelight were the cocks in the basket.
