The forces of the Lugansk People's Republic and the Russian forces supporting it announced the start of the cleaning operation of the Azot plant in Severodonetsk.
"The forces of the Luhansk People's Republic and allied Russian forces have begun to clean up the Azot Chemical Industry Complex in Severodonetsk," Andrei Maruchko, an officer in the Lugansk People's Forces, was quoted by TASS news agency as saying in a statement.
"The Azot industrial complex includes many buildings, facilities, basements and facilities in general, and it is built on an area of 20 square kilometers. At the present time, this project is being cleared and all the places where the Ukrainian armed formations can be present," Maruchko added.
On the other hand, the forces of the Lugansk Republic announced that the evacuation of civilians from the industrial zone of Severodonetsk was continuing.
Earlier today, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the forces of the Lugansk People's Republic, with the support of the Russian Armed Forces, liberated the cities of Severodonetsk, Borovskoye, Voronovo and Sirotino completely from the Ukrainian armed formations.
