Good news for Hebertshausen: seven medical practices will move into the medical center.

Hebertshausen – This development is pleasing: Since the demand for practice rooms in the planned medical center in Hebertshausen is significantly higher than expected, the concept must now be adapted accordingly.

In the building that the Hebertshausen municipal housing association will construct on Krautgartenstrasse, there are now rooms for a pharmacy, seven surgeries and a café.

Because specifically, a general practitioner, a physiotherapist, a pediatrician, a gynaecologist, a speech therapist, a psychologist and an alternative practitioner want to settle in the medical center.

Originally only three medical practices were planned in addition to the pharmacy and café, and apartments were planned on the top floor of the three-storey building.

"Now we are painting these apartments, setting up only practices," said Mayor Richard Reischl (CSU) now in the municipal council.

This has an impact, because practices require higher rooms and more parking spaces than private apartments.

As a result, the building design has to be adjusted.

By the way: everything from the region is also available in our regular Dachau newsletter.

The design for the residential building that is to be built next to the medical center will also be changed.

There you still want to build six apartments on three floors.

However, the apartments on the top floor are now to have straight walls instead of mansards.

The Free State demands this as a prerequisite for barrier-free living, which supports the project with state subsidies.

The already legally binding development plan will also be adapted to all new requirements.

The council decided unanimously.

However, this will not affect the project schedule, emphasized the head of the town hall.

"Construction will start in spring 2023."
